Arm/Disarm Wireless Module (PRK-315 or 314)

Technical Specifications

The Parakey is a wireless remote control system consisting of a receiving module and up to eight 4-button remote controls. As a stand-alone system, the remote controls can activate the on-board PGM outputs to provide home automation benefits. When coupled with an Esprit+ Series Control Panel, the remote controls can arm and disarm the Esprit+ system, communicate panic alarms and/or activate the programmable outputs (PGMs).

Parakey

Stand-alone or Compatible with any Esprit+ Series Control Panel

Supports 8 Remote Controls
PRK-315 and 314 work with either Omnia Remote Controls (OMN-RCT1) or Parakey Remote Controls (#344). Each 4-button remote control can be programmed to perform 8 actions, such as Regular arming, Force arming, Stay arming, controlling PGMs and activating a panic alarm.

Code-hopping Encrypted RF Codes
Microchip’s KEELOQ® patented technology integrated into Parakey ensures that each transmission is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access. Based on a code-hopping algorithm and an encryption key unique to each device, KEELOQ delivers secure remote control capability.

4 programmable outputs (PGMs)
The 3 on-board 50mA transistor outputs and 5A alarm relay can activate when a button is pressed on a remote control. Each PGM output can be set to follow a timer or respond to a pressed button. The timer can be defined in increments of 1 second to 4 minutes.

Panic Alarms
By pressing 2 buttons simultaneously, Parakey can trigger a PGM output or trigger both a PGM output and send a panic alarm signal to the Esprit+ control panel. For further protection Parakey provides a Panic Lockout timer. Once a panic alarm is activated, Parakey ignores any RF signals from remote controls for 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds.
